Our operating procedures to minimise waste and conserve energy at Palm View House include:
- Low energy bulbs, energy effecient appliances used where possible. Turn off lights when not required.
- All laundry dried outside on line.
- On site vegatable and herb garden.
- Recycling waste and composting organic waste.
- Eco friendly sewage treatment system also used to irragate garden.
- Recycling all bottles, cans, cardboard, and paper.
- We support our local Farmers Market.
- Involved with the Business Association of Kerikeri.
